Volunteers are looking for people who are not indifferent, thanks to whom children from IDP families will find the desired gifts and goodies under the Christmas tree on the morning of 25 December.

The rechi.support project is looking for people who care about children from internally displaced families to receive gifts for St Nicholas Day. This is stated on the project page.

We are looking for a personalised St. Nicholas for each child to give him a dream under his pillow," the volunteers write.

Volunteers ask to support IDP families and give children who are not in their homes a sense of holiday.

The children are waiting for presents, but besides that we need to provide them with more necessary things. So we will ask you to buy not only a car or a doll, but also a pillow, a towel or winter boots," the project's website says.

If you are ready to become Nicholas you need to fill out a questionnaire and wait for a message from the volunteers, who will provide all the information from the "wish list" and the data to send.

Parents who are verified in the rechi.support database send information about their children's wishes and dreams to the volunteers of the initiative.

The volunteers then pass these requests on personally to each person who has filled out the questionnaire for participation in the project. Participants prepare a gift for a particular child and send it "right under the pillow".
