The grounds for the recalculation of assigned pensions are determined by the legislation of Ukraine.
In 2022, an increase in pension payments for Ukrainian pensioners is scheduled for October 1 and December 1. This is reminiscent of the press service of the PFU .
In particular , from October 1, the minimum wage will be changed from UAH 6,500 to UAH 6,700. In connection with this, the size of the minimum old-age pension will increase for non-working persons who have reached the age of 65 years and more and have insurance experience - men at least 35 years, women - at least 30 years.
Also, from October 1, persons aged 70 to 75 will receive a monthly compensation payment in the amount of UAH 300 (within the framework of the pension payment UAH 10,340.35). If a person reaches the age of 70 after October 1, the compensation payment will be established from the date of reaching the age of 70.
In addition, for persons over the age of 70 years, with a man's experience of 35 years, women - 30 years, the minimum pension payment is set at 3,000 hryvnia. If the insurance period is less than 35 years for men, less than 30 years for women, the minimum pension payment is determined in proportion to the existing insurance period, based on the amount of UAH 3,000.
Already on December 1, the subsistence minimum for disabled persons will be recalculated: from 2027 to UAH 2,093. The size of the minimum and maximum pensions, the components of the pension payment, calculated from the subsistence minimum, will increase.
From December 1, persons under the age of 70, whose insurance period is at least 35 years for men and at least 30 years for women who do not work, the minimum pension payment will be set at UAH 2,500.
For persons whose insurance period is less than 35 years for men and less than 30 years for women, the minimum pension payment is set in proportion to the existing insurance period, based on the amount of UAH 2,500.
According to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, since the beginning of the year, pensions have increased by UAH 445.92 (by 11.2%). At the same time, the official inflation rate in the country amounted to 17.4%.
The number of pensioners in the country today is 10.8 million people. Most often, they receive from 2,000 to 3,000 hryvnias in their hands. About 7% of Ukrainian pensioners receive more than 10 thousand hryvnias every month.
