Overnight shelling destroyed a humanitarian aid train in Kherson

On the night of 20 December, Kherson experienced a massive attack by the Russian Federation. As a result, a warehouse with humanitarian aid from the Ukrainian Red Cross was destroyed.

This is reported by the Ministry of Reintegration.

The stocks of humanitarian aid for the residents of Kherson Region were destroyed by a fire resulting from a direct hit.

Humanitarian workers, facilities and property are protected by international humanitarian law. By attacking such facilities, the occupants have once again demonstrated their disregard for the fundamentals of international law," the ministry said.

The official page of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society said that the organisation's employees and volunteers were not injured. A photo of the aftermath of the shelling was also published.
