Orban criticised the West and announced a new political course for Hungary

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has criticised the European Union, accusing it of debt, violence and failed policies, and presented a new course for his country. According to Orban, Hungary is going its own way: migrant-free, where families are supported and opportunities are created for everyone who is willing to work. He wrote about it in his X account.

We need courage - intellectual, political and personal - to recognise that the West is no longer a role model and show a better way, he wrote in X.

In an extended Facebook post, Orban said European leaders have turned the EU into a bankrupt nation.

Mountains of debt, mass migration, street violence, millions of crumbling families, and Brussels bureaucrats running around like chickens. Europe as we loved it is no more," he wrote.

According to him, Hungary's migration policy is effective, the family support system combines work with childbirth, and the tax system helps able-bodied citizens find jobs. Orban paid special attention to Ukraine: "Hungarians' money will go to Ukraine... There is a war there, Ukraine is not a member of the EU and getting involved in the conflict will bankrupt Hungary. The national road is the key to the country's future."

At the same time, Orban did not declare his intention to withdraw the country from the EU or NATO, emphasising only Hungary's independence and unique course.
