13 cases of sexual abuse of children by Russian invaders known - Lubinets.

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russian military has killed 512 Ukrainian children and maimed 1,158 others. Torture was inflicted on 75 children, and the prosecutor's office also recorded 13 cases of sexual abuse of minors. This was reported by the Ukrainian ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets in Telegram.

He emphasised that children in Ukraine suffer from the actions of Russians on a daily basis. Thus, they cannot feel safe, the education system suffers, many of the children cannot receive qualified medical care in time, in addition, many families have lost someone close to them.

Lubinets pointed out that Ukraine carefully documents all facts of "destruction of childhood" on the territory of the country.

The office of the Prosecutor-General has recorded facts of sexual violence against 12 girls and one boy from 4 to 17 years old and found that 75 Ukrainian children suffered from torture by Russian invaders. The following figures will serve as evidence: 512 children were killed and 1,158 maimed," he wrote.

The ombudsman also noted that the Russians deported a total of about 20,000 children to their territory or temporarily occupied Crimea.

The Russians deported at least 19 546 children," he stressed.

We shall remind you that on 17 March, the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin on suspicion of committing war crimes in connection with the deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia.
