Occupiers threaten Kherson residents with deportation
The Russians are stepping up terror in the invaded territories.
Russian invaders demand that residents of the occupied part of Kherson Region take Russian passports. Otherwise, the occupiers threaten to deport them. This was reported in a report by the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff.
The Russian occupiers continue the forced passportization of the population of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. In particular, in the village of Tavria in Kherson Region, the invaders actively carry out house-to-house searches of local residents in order to check whether they have Russian passports. Citizens of Ukraine who have not received a Russian passport have been informed that if they fail to present documents by 1 June, such a person will be deported," the General Staff has said.
Furthermore, the Russians are threatening those Ukrainians who are not willing to give up their citizenship to take away all their property.
The General Staff also said that the Russian occupiers continued to plunder the civilian population of Ukraine by embezzling crops in the occupied territories.
In the city of Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhya Region, the so-called Russian occupation "authorities" are trying to export stolen corn by loading it on barges," the General Staff informed.
