Occupiers shot three Ukrainian prisoners of war near Robotino in Zaporizhzhya Region.
Law enforcers have launched an investigation into the violation of laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Today, 20 February, in the network appeared the video of the shooting by the occupants of three Ukrainian military captured. This happened on 18 February 2024 near the settlement of Robotino in Zaporizhzhya region.
The murder of prisoners of war is a flagrant violation of the Geneva Conventions and qualifies as a grave international crime, - noted in the Office of the Prosecutor General.
We shall remind you that on 19 February it became known that the Russian army shot captured Ukrainian military at one of the positions in Avdiivka and Veseloye. To fix this crime and establish all the circumstances, the Ukrainian parliamentary commissioner for human rights, Dmytro Lubinets, appealed to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
