Police evacuated three families with children from Kherson and Kamyshans shelled by the Russian army.

On the right bank of the Kherson Region, evacuations of families with children from settlements massively shelled by the Russian army continue. This is reported by the Kherson Region Police Communications Department.

The occupants are shooting at residential houses and civilian infrastructure, almost daily Russian shells kill and maim civilians. It is impossible to predict when and where the enemy will strike again, - stated in the message.

Over the past two days, a woman with her daughter and grandson, who live in Kherson's Korabel neighbourhood, which suffers the most from Russian shelling , agreed to leave the shelling. This family survived the occupation and waterlogging, but due to the intensification of enemy shelling it is extremely dangerous to stay further, so the family decided to leave.

Two families with three children from Kamyshan were also forced to leave their homes. People said that in recent days the enemy has significantly intensified shelling of the village, there were "flights" to neighbouring houses, the children were very frightened and the parents decided to leave, because they do not have their own transport. People explained that they decided to evacuate because of the children, their safety and health.

Police officers together with volunteers and representatives of local authorities used special armoured vehicles to take families from the shelled areas to collection points, and from there the evacuees went to safer regions of the country.
