New missile strike on Ukrainian territory
Multiple missiles are being reported.
An air alert has been issued in all regions of Ukraine due to the threat of Russian missiles, except in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The Kiev metro has again gone into bomb shelter mode. A large number of Kiev residents are waiting out the air alert here.
Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat said the Russians had launched missiles from the Volgodonsk, Caspian and Black Sea areas.
Telegram channel Tsaplienko reported a downed missile over the territory of Kiev Region, while Vitaliy Kim reported a downed missile over Mykolayiv Region.
Several explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhya. Part of them are echoes of hits in the suburbs, another part is the successful work of the Air Defence Forces. This was reported by city council secretary Kurtiv.
