At night, the Russian army once again attacked southern Ukraine. There are dead in Kherson region

As reported by the head of Kherson OVA, Oleksandr Prokudin:

As a result of the "flight" on Kherson, a 72-year-old man was killed. Another one was injured, he was treated on the spot. In Kizomys there was a hit to a private house. From the injuries received, an elderly woman died on the spot. A 60-year-old man was taken to hospital in a state of medium severity. Olgovka was also under fire. A 63-year-old woman was injured. She was hospitalised.

In the area of responsibility of the Air Defence Forces of the south, 18 unmanned aerial vehicles of the "Shahed-136/131" type were shot down:

• 11 - over the Odessa region;
• 5 - over Mykolaiv region;
• 2 - over Kirovograd region.

A hit was recorded in the recreational infrastructure of Vilkivska community. There was a fire, which was promptly eliminated. No casualties were reported," the Southern Air Defence Forces report.

In Snigirevska community in Mykolayiv region, debris from a downed UAV caused a fire in a two-storey building, which is not in use. The fire was extinguished, no people were injured.

The Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that 18 Shaheds and 17 cruise missiles were destroyed on the night of 18 September.

• 18 attack drones were destroyed by air defence along their route.
• 17 missiles were destroyed within Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava and Khmelnytskyi regions.
