In the capital, the attackers sold goods that were intended as volunteer assistance for Ukrainians affected by the war.

This was reported by the press service of the Kiev police.

Citizens complained about the warehouse with goods, who said that unknown persons were selling dubious food products on the territory of the Obolonsky district.

Among the seized are canned food, cereals, flour, salt, sugar, juices, water and other foreign-made products. Goods were sold without certificates, and they also lacked barcodes and markings. Entrepreneurs could not explain the origin of the products to the police officers and provide the relevant documents for its purchase. In addition, we found out that the tenants of the warehouses equipped premises for workshops for the production of goods - they unpacked foreign food products and packed them in packages of Ukrainian manufacturers. Also in the premises of the warehouse, we found vodka products without excise stamps. In total, more than ten thousand units of various products were seized, the department said.

It became known that all food products were received from foreigners, who thus wanted to support Ukrainians in the cities that suffered the most from the actions of the invaders. However, the scammers decided to cash in on humanitarian aid and sell it to the population.
