We bring to your attention today's (as of March 26, 22) review of international events through the prism of the war in Ukraine, made by the editors of Sotsportal.



WAR
1. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba hinted at an agreement reached on "concrete steps" to reduce the number of Russian missiles hitting targets in Ukraine.
2. US President Joe Biden, at a meeting with the heads of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Defense, guaranteed that US support would continue until the victory of Ukraine
3. The first large batch of anti-tank weapons arrived in Ukraine, the purchase of which was agreed by the German government.
4. The Ministry of Defense of Estonia reported that a field hospital transferred by the Estonian side and financed by Germany started working in Ukraine.
Key: According to British intelligence, Russia will continue its air and artillery bombardment of cities in order to limit its losses and demoralize the defense forces.

1.Raiffeisen Bank International reported that it is considering a possible exit from the Russian market.

4. YouTube video hosting blocked the channel of Russian pranksters Aleksey Stolyarov (Lexus) and Vladimir Kuznetsov (Vovan), who played three British ministers pretending to be Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal.
Key: The administration of US President Joe Biden is preparing sanctions against Russian companies that provide goods and services to the military and intelligence services, including dual-use components used in weapons proliferation.

POLITICS
1. The theme of Ukraine will be the main one in the measures prepared for the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
2. The German federal states of Lower Saxony and Bavaria have announced legal sanctions for the use of the Z sign in public places.
3. Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki said that more countries support the idea of a peacekeeping mission in Ukraine.
4. A small number of ambassadors from EU and NATO member states continue to work in Lviv and are not evacuated from Ukraine.
The main thing: Biden is sure that the plans of the Russian Federation to create a split within NATO failed.

1. The European Commission and the Government of Canada have announced the launch of a global campaign to raise funds in support of Ukrainian refugees.
2. Hungary became the fourth EU state that allowed Ukrainian carriers to carry out all bilateral and transit transportation across the Ukrainian border in a simplified manner.
3. UK to provide £2 million worth of food to Russian-encircled parts of Ukraine
4. Ireland announced that it has joined the Group of Friends of Accountability – countries demanding accountability for Russia's crimes in Ukraine.
The main thing: In Poland, a decrease in the number of newly arrived refugees from Ukraine is recorded.
