Naftogaz told how the population can get a discount and how much they can save

Naftogaz customers have the opportunity to receive a 1% discount - but only if they pay their bill before the 15th. Information was announced in the press service of the company.

Recall that from June 1, 2022, the Naftogaz Ukrainy gas supply company has become a supplier in Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Zaporozhye, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Nikolaev, Rivne, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytsky, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv regions and the city of Kyiv.

The regional gas supplier, independent of the NJSC, remained in the Poltava region - Poltavgaz Sbyt LLC.

The press service said that to use the discount, you need to make a payment to your account before the 15th day of each month. This can be done using the Naftogaz chat bot or in your personal account on the company's website.

The discount for all customers is available in a few clicks. To do this, you need to pay the bill in your personal account on my.gas.ua or in the GASUA chat until August 15. The resulting 1% discount can be used on your next payment.

Naftogaz emphasized that the money remains on the personal account and is written off only for the actually consumed gas in subsequent periods and clarified that despite the overpayment, the readings must be submitted monthly.

In case of overpayment, you must also monthly transmit gas meter readings to your regional gas company, the company explained.

Also, Naftogaz spoke about subsidies.

Today, Naftogaz provides gas to more than 90% of consumers. Almost every Ukrainian can save 1% on gas bills.
