A giant Ukrainian flag was launched over Donetsk

The Telegram channel Typichnyy Donetsk reported that a Ukrainian flag was seen in the sky by residents of Donetsk's Kalynskyy district. The flag flying in the air on balloons was slowly developing in the sky.

The blue-yellow flag was launched on balloons of red and black colours, repeating the colours of the flag of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army," the report said.

As the head of Avdeevka city military administration Vitaly Barabash said on the air of the telethon, the flag was launched in honour of the day of the city of Avdeevka by Ukrainian defenders. It flew towards occupied Donetsk.

Today is the 245th anniversary of the founding of Avdeevka. We started the day with activity - we launched the national flag on balloons into the sky. It flew towards Donetsk. We're already hearing interceptions, they're a bit frantic about it. They tried to shoot it down. But the national flag is already flying over the Kiev district of Donetsk," Barabash said.
