Russian shelling destroyed 60,000 tonnes of grain in Odessa region

The massive shelling in the Odessa region destroyed 60,000 tonnes of grain that was to be sent by the "grain corridor".
This was reported by Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Mykola Solskyy.
According to him, massive Russian shelling on the night of 19 July destroyed 60,000 tonnes of grain stored in the Chornomorsk port. It was to be loaded on a large-capacity vessel, sent abroad as part of the "grain initiative" 60 days ago.
The grain infrastructure of international and Ukrainian traders and carriers Kernel, Viterra, CMA CGM Group was most affected. This is a terrorist act not against Ukraine, but against the whole world. Whose food security is again under threat," Solskyy said.
It is noted that it will take at least a year to restore the destroyed infrastructure.
In addition, the destruction of grain will affect the economy of Ukraine and the world. According to the minister's forecast, the price of grain may rise - not all countries will be able to buy agricultural products at new prices. This means that the price of products will rise: flour, cereals, meat.
