More than 5,000 human rights violations recorded since the beginning of the occupation of Crimea
Since the beginning of the occupation of the peninsula, human rights activists have recorded more than 5 thousand crimes. Most of the human rights violations in Crimea concern Crimean Tatars.
This was stated by Crimean Tatar activist, human rights defender, deputy director of the Ukrainian Institute Alim Aliyev at the conference "Crimea Global. Understanding Ukraine through the South", reports the Ministry of Reintegration.
More than 5 thousand human rights violations have been registered in temporarily occupied Crimea over the past 9.5 years. They mainly concerned Crimean Tatars," the report said.
It is noted that during the occupation about 70 thousand people left Crimea. While came from the Russian Federation on the territory of the peninsula more than 700 thousand people. Among them both military and civilian.
