Mobile air defence teams protect Ukraine's skies

A considerable number of mobile air defence fire groups are on combat duty in the northern operational zone. This was reported by the AFU United Forces Command.

According to the commander of the AFU United Forces, Serhiy Naev, in the northern operational zone the Ukrainian sky is guarded not only by the well-known anti-aircraft missile systems. A considerable number of mobile air defence fire groups are on combat duty.

The MR-2 Viktor mobile anti-aircraft system is popular among air defence units. Systems with German MG-3 machine gun, American large-calibre machine gun "Browning M2". Nevertheless, Ukrainian soldiers do not shy away from using old Soviet machine guns DShKM and Maxim in mobile firing groups," Sergey Naev stressed.

As the commander noted, in terms of technology, of course, Western systems are better than Soviet ones. However, Ukrainian soldiers use everything that can kill the enemy - in the sky and on the ground.
