Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine insists on the legalization of short-barreled weapons

According to Monastyrsky, after the war, people will not want to hand over their weapons, because they will not feel safe.
Denis Monastyrsky stated this in an interview with Bloomberg, writes Liga.net
The post-war call to surrender will not be heeded by Ukrainians because most of them will still feel in danger, and therefore it is necessary to legally buy and keep short-barreled firearms at home, — Monastyrsky said.
According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the great war showed that tens of thousands of weapons, including assault weapons, which the authorities distributed to the defense forces, are direct evidence that Ukrainians know how to handle weapons responsibly.
Also, according to Monastyrsky, the possession of short-barreled weapons can become a preemptive factor in a sharp post-war increase in crime.
