Russian troops launched a combined strike on Ternopil just before morning, the aftermath of the attack is shocking.



As a result of the shelling it is already known about 12 victims, dozens of people were injured.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the speech of the mayor of Ternopil Serhiy Nadal on the air of the national telethon.

Ternopil was subjected to a combined attack by rockets and "shaheds". The hits were to an industrial facility, but, among other things, hit directly two residential buildings. One of them 104 - flats, the other - 51 flats," Nadal said.

According to him, the houses suffered severe damage. Unfortunately, there are quite a few fatalities. At present, 12 are already known. But it is likely that the number could be higher. There are more than 40 injured who have been taken to medical centres, including 12 children.

There are still rescue operations underway. People are still being rescued from the fire captivity, from basements, from roofs. Everyone is receiving the necessary medical care," he added.

The mayor also stressed that the RF strike seriously damaged a kindergarten, which was nearby, two schools.

The heat supply network in the neighbourhood was damaged. At present, the work has been restored and completed, and heat will be supplied in the usual mode. Of course, public transport is not fully operational as the neighbourhood that was attacked is now blocked by law enforcers," Nadal added.

He also stressed that elements of the heating network on Kievskaya Street were damaged due to enemy strikes. Therefore, the boiler house on Kievskaya Street and heat supply to houses on Vasyl Stusa Street, Serhiy Korolev Street and 15 April Street have been temporarily suspended. There are also several kindergartens without heating.

Communal services are waiting for access to the places of accidents. As soon as they get it, they will start restoration work.

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, in Ternopil region confirmed 12 dead and 49 wounded. In Ternopil, missiles and drones hit two residential buildings on Stusa Street and 15 April Street, and also damaged an industrial facility.

As the publication Novini Ternopil 20 khvilin writes, there are already 16 dead.

On the site are working investigative and operational teams, the State Emergency Service, fire extinguishing continues. The victims are being provided with medical and psychiatric care.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russian occupants launched 48 missiles and 470 drones of various types at Ukraine during the night and morning of 19 November.

During the combined strike on Ukraine on the night of 19 November, the Russian Federation attacked not only Ternopil, where several multi-storey houses were damaged and partially destroyed.

The Russians also attacked the energy sector in Ivano-Frankivsk region. Damage to an energy facility and fire were also recorded in Lviv region, where explosions occurred during the night.

In Kharkiv as of this morning it was known that already 46 people were injured or traumatised because of the Russian strike. Sixteen high-rise buildings, a school, an ambulance station and other buildings were damaged, and a supermarket was destroyed.
