Massive attack on Ukraine: Kuleba appealed to the world community
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister said that the only collective response could and should be military and financial assistance to Ukraine.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has addressed the international community on 29 December after a massive missile attack by Russia. The foreign minister said this in social network X.
He said that about 110 Russian missiles and numerous drones were used to strike civilians in Ukraine. Maternity hospitals, schools, hospitals, residential buildings and commercial facilities were attacked.
Today, millions of Ukrainians woke up to the loud sound of explosions. I would like the sounds of the explosions in Ukraine to be heard around the world. In all major capitals, headquarters and parliaments where further support for Ukraine is now being debated. In all editorials that write about 'fatigue' or that Russia is supposedly ready for 'negotiations'," Kuleba wrote.
He emphasised that the only collective response can and should be continuous, powerful and long-term military and financial assistance to Ukraine.
Only greater firepower can silence Russian terror," the foreign minister said.
Earlier, US ambassador to Ukraine Brigitte Brink reacted to a massive missile attack by Russian troops on a number of peaceful Ukrainian cities.
