US ambassador comments on Russian Federation's massive attack on Ukraine
The US ambassador said Ukraine needs funding now to continue the fight for freedom from such horror in 2024.
US ambassador to Ukraine Brigitte Brink on 29 December reacted to a massive missile attack by Russian troops on a number of peaceful Ukrainian cities. Brigitte Brink published her statement on social network X.
This is what Ukrainians are seeing on their phones this morning: millions of men, women and children are in bomb shelters as a result while Russia fires missiles across the country. Ukraine needs funding now to continue the fight for freedom from such horror in 2024," the diplomat wrote.
Brigitte Brink illustrated her message with a screenshot from a smartphone with notifications of air alerts in Ukraine.
She emphasised the need to continue funding Ukraine, which is fighting Russian aggression.
On the night of 29 December, Russian troops launched a massive strike on Ukrainian cities. There are casualties and destruction in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odessa, Lviv, Zaporizhzhya and other cities.
