Martial law and mobilisation in Ukraine to be extended again: until what date

Martial law may be extended for another three months.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has sent to the Verkhovna Rada draft laws on extending martial law and general mobilisation. The parliament's website has registered documents No 13471 and No 13472 concerning the approval of the respective decrees of the head of state.
According to the proposals, martial law and mobilisation, which expire on 6 August, are proposed to be extended for another 90 days - until 5 November 2025. Both draft laws must be approved by the Verkhovna Rada.
Martial law was introduced with the onset of Russia's full-scale aggression and provides for a special legal regime aimed at protecting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. It gives the authorities, military commanders and local administrations extended powers to coordinate the country's defence and ensure the safety of citizens.
