Lyceum No. 1 in Gostomel, which survived the Russian occupation, needs help

During the hostilities, Russian soldiers destroyed a significant part of the lyceum: windows and doors were broken, walls and ceilings were destroyed, equipment was broken. Part of the funds for the restoration of the lyceum has already been found, the building is being renovated. However, they are not enough to purchase computers and new multimedia equipment, which is necessary to ensure the educational process. Charitable Foundation "Victory of Ukraine" joined this direction to help the lyceum.

Many have already returned and plan to return to their homes. They want to do their best to live life to the fullest. And among other things, so that their children have the opportunity to receive a full-fledged education! Thus, the team of our foundation, mainly living in Gostomel and Bucha, could not but respond to the request for help to Gostomel Lyceum No. 1. Because our children are our hope, our future! We will seek support from well-known people, from Ukrainian international funds and companies, from the world community. Each hryvnia, dollar or euro will help and bring our common victory closer! - stressed Sergiy Regeda, Executive Director of the Victory of Ukraine Foundation.

The pride of the lyceum was multimedia equipment: computers, projector, screens, peripheral devices, electronic software for educational purposes, distributed among 60 classrooms. Pupils had the opportunity to study in computer classes, a class of netbooks, a robotics laboratory, two workshops, sports halls, a library, an assembly hall, equipped with the necessary equipment.

Thanks to these technical means, the educational process was interesting, and most importantly, fruitful and productive: students repeatedly became winners of Olympiads, IAS competition works, sports competitions and creative competitions.

Repair work is being actively carried out in the lyceum - the roof, walls, entrance group are being restored. Broken doors and broken windows are replaced. But whole walls and windows are not all. To restore a full-fledged educational process, the lyceum needs new technology and the Internet. We want our children to have the best learning environment online or offline. So, we appeal for help to all those who are not indifferent! - says Vladimir Nikolaevich Zakhlyupany, director of Lyceum No. 1 in Gostomel.

Since the educational process is planned to be resumed from September 1, the lyceum needs:

• Laptops - 70 pcs.

• System blocks - 50 pcs.

• Printers - 30 pcs.

• Projectors - 30 pcs.

• Internet Recovery

The preliminary estimate for this equipment is UAH 1,800,000 or $50,000.
