Large-scale fire in Sumy region caused by Russian shelling

Private houses, including apartment blocks, were damaged by a shock wave due to Russian shelling. A house of culture and premises of civilians were on fire.

A large-scale fire in Sumy Region caused by Russian shelling has been liquidated. This was reported by the State Emergency Situations Service on 10 January.

The fire broke out the night before in the residential sector due to enemy strikes on one of the settlements in Sumy district, - rescuers said.

Private houses, including apartment blocks, were damaged by the shock wave. A house of culture and premises of civilians were burning.

The fires managed to be extinguished, which prevented the fire from spreading to the housing of the local population.
