China targets Siberia and the Far East - Asian Times

Official Beijing is already thinking about appropriating Siberia and the Far East in Russia's disintegration, according to the media.
China has unveiled a new map of the world. On it, territories of the country that were once occupied by the Russian Empire have been given former Chinese names, the Asian Times reports.
▪️ Vladivostok is again called Haishenwei, meaning "Sea Cucumber Bay",
▪️ island Sakhalin - Kuedao,
▪️ ridge Stanovoi is again given the Chinese name "Outer Xing'an Ridge".

The publication also points out that China has recently been actively promoting the idea that the Chinese people lost 1.7 million square kilometres of territory as a result of unequal treaties with Russia at different points in time. In particular:
- The Far East
- part of the territories of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan
- the region now known as Outer Manchuria, which covers more than 1 million square kilometres
- access to the Sea of Japan
Moscow has not yet responded to the map.
