About 25,000 people took shelter in Kyiv metro stations during the nighttime massive attack.

During the massive attack on Kyiv this night, 21 March, almost 25,000 people took shelter in metro stations. This is reported by the Kyiv city state administration.

This night, 21 March, during a massive missile attack on the stations of the capital's underground sheltered almost 25 thousand people, - stated in the message.

It is noted that among those sheltering from the attack were about 3 thousand children.

I emphasise that during the air alarm absolutely all lobbies of underground stations are open for entry, - said the first deputy head of the KSCA Mykola Povoroznik.

He reminded that folding chairs, modular benches, blankets and mattresses are available at the stations. To get them, you need to contact the station staff on duty.

As a result of the missile attack on Kyiv at night and in the morning of 21 March twelve people were injured. Such clarified information was reported by the head of the KHVA Sergey Popko.

The State Emergency Situations Service reported that the fires, which arose as a result of falling debris of downed missiles, had been eliminated.
