In Odessa, the number of people injured in the Russian missile strike has increased

In Odessa, 16 people were killed and 73 others were injured of varying severity because of the Russian missile strike.

This was reported by Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.

It is now known about 16 dead, among them an employee of the State Emergency Situations Service. Another 73 people have injuries of varying severity.

Unfortunately, we have losses among the personnel of the National Police. Strong, fearless fighters. Without figures, but with great respect for each victim. My condolences to the relatives and friends of our fallen Heroes, the whole family of the Ministry of internal Affairs mourns with you, - added Klimenko.

Around 18:00, Ukraine's Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin said that the number of people killed in the missile strike had increased to 19. 73 people were wounded.

We will remind, on 15 March Russian invaders launched a missile strike on Odessa. This caused a fire. When the rescuers of the State emergency services arrived on the scene, the enemy struck again. As a result of the shelling, 10 private houses, a service station, a low-pressure gas pipeline and 2 fire-rescue vehicles were damaged.

According to the Southern Defence Forces, the enemy fired Iskander-M missiles from the temporarily occupied Crimea.
