In Kharkiv, utility bills will be written off from February 24 until the end of the war.
This was announced on Friday, April 1, by the mayor of Kharkov Igor Terekhov.
I know and understand how hard it is for you, how you steadfastly hold on, enduring all the horrors of war. Therefore, all utilities provided by the city will be written off from February 24 until the end of the war,” Terekhov said in a video message.
The mayor of Kharkov thanked those citizens who, despite the hostilities, continue to pay for housing and communal services.
Terekhov assured that this decision would not affect the wages of communal workers.
They will be paid a salary in full at the expense of the city budget.
