Canada is preparing new sanctions against Russian industry

Canada plans to impose sanctions against industrial production in Russia. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada.
The statement said that the sanctions would apply to land and pipeline transport, the production of metals, vehicles, computers, electronic, electrical and machinery equipment.

Following the imposition of new sanctions, Canadian businesses will have 60 days to complete contracts with affected industries.
Earlier, Ottawa expanded sanctions against Russia, including 29 propaganda journalists and 15 organizations involved in the dissemination of information on the sanctions list.
According to the published list, Patriarch Kirill, who supports the war in Ukraine, also fell under the new Canadian sanctions.
