It became known when the trial against the rashists will be held in The Hague

This winter, the cases of Russian war criminals may begin to be heard in The Hague.
The International Criminal Court in The Hague intends to bring the first charges of alleged Russian war crimes in Ukraine in late 2022 or early 2023, Bloomberg reports. The exact date of commencement of proceedings in the first case has not yet been announced.
The agency also reports that representatives of Ukraine are negotiating with the International Court of Justice to transfer to it at least one Russian prisoner of war, who is allegedly ready to testify against Russia.
The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine has been collecting evidence of possible war crimes of the Russian troops and its own investigations since the first day of the war. In March, a joint investigation team, including several European judicial bodies, including the International Criminal Court in The Hague, was set up to gather evidence of Russian army crimes in Ukraine.
As of early July, Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office has accepted for investigation suspicions of more than 21,000 war crimes since the beginning of the Russian invasion.
Ukrainian human rights activists are also documenting traces of war crimes by the Russian army in Ukraine and are interviewing witnesses. According to them, more than 11 thousand episodes of war crimes committed by the Russian military have already been recorded in the country. The UN says that Ukraine recorded at least 124 cases of rape during the war.
