Iran to hand over new weapons to Russia - media
The first batch of Fateh-110 and Zolfaghar missiles is already being produced at factories in Iran.
Iran intends to supply Russia with surface-to-surface missiles to strengthen the Russian army. The countries signed agreements on 18 September. The Washington Post writes about this, citing its own sources.
According to intelligence, the first batch of Fateh-110 and Zolfaghar missiles are already being prepared at the factories. These short-range ballistic missiles can hit targets up to 300 and 700 km away, respectively.
The newest versions of Fateh-110 and Zolfaghar are considered to be both powerful and fairly accurate over relatively short distances. Some models are equipped with electro-optical guidance systems that allow missile operators to guide them during the final approach to the target, the newspaper writes.
Intelligence also believes that Iran is preparing a new supply of unmanned aerial vehicles. The latter will include dozens of Mujaher-6s and more Shahed-136s.
In total, Russia ordered 2,400 drones from Iran, according to Ukrainian intelligence.
