Invaders take rubbish from Russia to occupied territories of Ukraine
The Russians continue to turn the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine into a big dumping ground by setting up unauthorised landfills.
This was reported by the Centre for National Resistance.
Under the guise of a processing plant, the occupants are organising a new landfill "Luhansk" near Rodakovo on the border of the Lutuhynskyy and Slovyansk-Serbskyy regions," the report said.
According to the CNS, this landfill is one of six planned Russian dumps in Luhansk region. Two more dumps are known about: in Severodonetsk and Anthracite.
According to the Luhansk regional state administration, the invaders also plan to bury imported waste on the territory of Severodonetsk, Anthracite and Luhansk.
About 50 per cent of the total volume of rubbish will be isolated. The occupants promise to destroy the ecology around these cities until 2030, - noted in the regional administration.
In addition, the invaders continue to transport rubbish to the temporarily occupied territories from Rostov region. In particular, due to the fact that near Rostov refused to build a landfill because of the protests of local residents.
Meanwhile, today the occupied territories of Ukraine are simply drowning in rubbish," the CNS summarised.
Thus, even for large cities, unauthorised dumps, unsanitary conditions and rats have become commonplace.
