Indonesia will help Ukraine with money
The authorities told what they would spend the financial aid on.
The Republic of Indonesia intends to allocate $5 million to restore the medical infrastructure of Ukraine, which was destroyed as a result of hostilities. This is reported by the Ministry of Health .
The Republic of Indonesia is ready to join the restoration of the Ukrainian medical infrastructure, which was destroyed by rockets and shells of Russian invaders. In particular, we are talking about investments in the amount of $5 million, which can be directed to the restoration of Ukrainian medical institutions.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health noted that Ukraine has already begun the restoration of medical institutions in the de-occupied regions.
It is known that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian occupation troops have damaged more than 600 healthcare facilities, of which 105 have been completely destroyed.
The invaders also destroyed 396 pharmacies, 27 of which were completely destroyed. More than 200 emergency vehicles were shot or seized by the Russians.
In the territories temporarily occupied by Russian troops, there are 235 medical institutions and more than 200 emergency medical teams, most of which are in the Kherson region.
It is worth noting that since the beginning of the war, Indonesia has provided significant assistance to Ukraine by supplying a large number of medicines and medical products.
