As a result of a massive strike by Russian troops on 22 March on Ukraine's energy system, 700,000 consumers were temporarily left without power supply. This was reported by the deputy head of the Office of the President, Oleksiy Kuleba.
He said that more than 150 rockets and missiles were fired by the Russian Federation at the regions of Ukraine. Temporarily de-energised hundreds of thousands of homes.
Dnipropetrovsk region. In the region there are interruptions with heat supply. Without light remain residents of the cities of Kamenskoye, Krivoy Rog, Pavlograd. In general, it is more than 250 thousand subscribers. In these cities will also be introduced schedules of light supply. Work is underway to restore electricity by the end of the day.

In Poltava region about 110 thousand subscribers are without electricity. Disconnection schedules are being introduced.
Kharkiv and other settlements of Kharkiv district, Pervomayskaya community of Lozovsky district are temporarily de-energised. Other cities of the region - Krasnograd, Alekseevskaya community, Kupyansky district - are partially without light. In the region, schedules of blackouts are introduced to save the energy system.
Sumy, Shostka, Lebedyn, Lipovaya Dolina, Svesa, Krasnopolska and Glukhivska communities have been de-energised. Schedules of blackouts are being introduced.
Electricity supplies are limited in Kirovograd and Khmelnitsky regions.
As of now 700 thousand consumers are without electricity. Unfortunately, there are victims. Three dead - two in Khmelnitsky region and one person in Zaporozhye. At least three people are missing. As of now, 13 people have been injured. There is also damage to civilian houses," Kuleba said.
He stressed that all forces have been sent to rescue people, repair the damage and return light and water to homes.
