In the afternoon of 2 April, the Russian army launched a missile strike on the Dnieper. As a result of the attack, 18 people were injured, a kindergarten, a college and a business were destroyed.

This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak.

According to him, one of Dnipro's educational establishments was damaged due to the missile attack. At the time of the strike, all children were in shelters, thanks to which the children are unharmed.

According to the State Emergency Situations Service, a kindergarten, a college and an enterprise were damaged due to the missile attack in the city. In particular, there was a fire on the territory of the enterprise, which has already been eliminated.

At least 18 people, among them children, were injured as a result of the rocket attack.

Dnipro. Already 18 injured. Among the 12 hospitalised, five are children. I visited the children in hospital. Now their condition is assessed by doctors as medium severity. However, they say, everything will be fine," said Lysak.

In addition, the chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration published a video of the consequences of the enemy attack.

President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasised the enemy strike on the Dnieper River in his evening video message. According to him, rescue work continues at the scene.

All services are in place. And I thank everyone who reacts, who goes to the sites of strikes to help people as quickly as possible. This is the most important thing," Zelensky said.

The president added that it is not unimportant "that Russian terrorists are getting answers to their strikes." These responses are becoming more and more long-range each time.
