15% of respondents expect rather a just peace, although with some concessions to Russia.

According to a March KMIS poll, only 3 per cent of Ukrainians believe that Ukraine will be able to achieve a fully just peace under US President Donald Trump. Another 15% of respondents admit such an option, but with some concessions to Russia.

About 21% of Ukrainians believe that the peace will be partially fair, and 32% expect a rather unfair compromise, although with the fulfilment of some of Ukraine's demands. Fully unfair peace is seen by 22% of respondents.

Compared to December 2024, when 31% of respondents expressed concerns about the unfairness of a possible peace under Trump, this figure rose to 58% in February 2025. It dropped slightly in March, but still remains high at 55%. Sociologists note that while Ukrainians were still cautiously optimistic at the end of 2024, since February 2025 the mood has significantly worsened.

The poll was conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology from 12 to 22 March 2025 among 1,326 respondents across Ukraine.
