Hamas thanked Putin for supporting militants in the war against Israel

Hamas praises Putin's stance on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
Hamas terrorists who killed hundreds of women and children in Israel have thanked Russia and Putin personally for their support. This is reported by "RIA Novosti" with reference to the statement of the organisation.
We in Hamas highly appreciate the position of Russian President Vladimir Putin with regard to the ongoing Zionist (Israeli) aggression against our people and his rejection of the blockade of Gaza, the cessation of aid deliveries to it and strikes against civilians there," the militants wrote.
The reason for the terrorists' letter to the dictator was Putin's "call" to "minimise or reduce to zero" the civilian casualties of the war between Israel and Hamas.
He also suggested holding Palestinian-Israeli negotiations, the result of which, in his opinion, should be the creation of an independent Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital, TASS propagandists point out ."
According to him, Russia proceeds "from the irreversibility of a negotiated solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict."

For its part, CNN writes that Putin's call for "minimising civilian casualties" comes as Russia continues its ruthless military campaign against Ukraine and is under investigation by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity, as its soldiers kill Ukrainian civilians, impose Russian passports on temporarily occupied territories and persecute dissenting voices, torture and murder dissenters in prisons.
In addition to Putin's comments, Russia's ambassador to the UN circulated a resolution Friday calling for a "ceasefire."
