H&M is curtailing business in Belarus, but does not plan to open in Ukraine yet

We will temporarily reopen our three stores to sell the remaining items and keep them open for a limited period of time, the company said.

H&M stores have been closed in Belarus since the beginning of March. They planned to open in August, but this did not happen. The new date for the temporary opening of stores is September 19.

At the same time, the retailer has no plans to reopen its stores in Ukraine yet. This was stated in the company in response to a request from Forbes Ukraine.

The company also stated that they are in constant dialogue with Ukrainian colleagues and continue to pay salaries. H&M also provides temporary employment opportunities for colleagues who are forced to travel to neighboring countries.
