State Emergency Service continues rescue operation in Dnipro, death toll rises
There were 72 flats in the building destroyed by the missile, with about 100-200 known residents and about 50 children.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, Valentin Reznichenko, said:
10 dead, including a 15-year-old girl. And 64 wounded - 59 hospitalised, the rest being treated at home.
Cyril Timoshenko, deputy head of the Office of the President, said:
As a result of the missile strike:
- 37 people rescued from the building, including 6 children,
- 64 people were injured, including 14 children
It is known that the entire house is without electricity, gas and windows. More than 1,000 people need to be provided with shelter. Indestructible Points have already been deployed nearby. All services will work through the night.
