Georgia joins sanctions against Russia

Oleg Pavlos
Georgia has imposed all the financial sanctions against the Russian Federation that were previously imposed by Western countries. Previously, Georgia refused to impose sanctions against the Russian Federation.
This was stated by Georgian President Salome Zourabishvili on the air of CNN on Thursday, March 31.
We participate in all international financial sanctions against the Russian Federation, and this really already means something for our financial sector, - said Salome Zurabishvili.
Also, according to her, Georgia supports all international resolutions that are created to support Ukraine.
After the launch of a full-scale Russian invasion on February 24, the Georgian government refused to support EU restrictions against the aggressor.
