Georgian parliamentarians arrived in Kyiv

After refusing an "inappropriate" invitation to see the atrocities of the Russian occupiers, the Georgian speaker changed his mind.

A delegation of Georgian parliamentarians headed by the Speaker of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, has arrived in Kyiv. He announced this on his Twitter.

Today in Kyiv, together with fellow parliamentarians, to convey a message to Georgia: we feel your pain, Georgia supports Ukraine, Georgians are with the Ukrainians,” Papuashvili wrote.

In addition to Papuashvili, the delegation includes vice-speakers David Sergienko, Archil Talakvadze and Levan Ioseliani, head of the Diaspora Committee Beka Odisharia, representatives of the Lelo, Gorchi, Republican Party and For Georgia parties.

The day before, the countries agreed to further communicate with each other and exchange information before public assessments of relations between the two countries.
