She was preparing an assassination attempt on the President. SBU detains Russian informer

The attacker turned out to be a resident of Ochakov, who was a former saleswoman in a military shop on the territory of one of the military units in the region, the SBU press service has said.

The woman set the time and list of locations of the tentative route of the head of state on the territory of the region. To do this, she travelled around the territory of the area and filmed locations of Ukrainian objects. She also tried to get the necessary information using her own acquaintances, in particular in social institutions of the region.

Law enforcers detained the attacker while trying to transfer intelligence.

During the investigative actions other tasks of the enemy agent were also established. In particular, she had to locate the electronic warfare systems and ammunition depots of the AFU near Ochakov.

The occupants needed this information to prepare a new massive air strike on Mykolaiv region.

Now the woman has been detained, she has been reported on suspicion under part 3 of article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorised dissemination of information about the direction, movement, movement, movement or deployment of weapons, arms and ammunition in Ukraine, movement, movement or deployment of the AFU).

The attacker faces up to 12 years in prison.
