As a result of the attack, a fire broke out at the facility, engulfing vertical fuel tanks. Fire trains were brought in to extinguish the fire.
The operation was successfully carried out by units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine in cooperation with other components of the Defence Forces.
It is reported that the fire at the Atlas oil depot has already engulfed four tanks and has not been extinguished. Detailed information on the consequences of the strike is being clarified.
The defence forces continue to take all necessary measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian occupiers and put an end to Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.
In addition to the strike on the Atlas oil depot, the Zenit oil depot in the Kirov region and the field artillery depot of the Russian troops grouping Zapad in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation were also attacked.
