Gaidai tells how to liberate Severodonetsk

Very brutal fighting continues in Luhansk oblast.

The liberation of key non-populated areas on the way to Severodonetsk will be a condition for the city's liberation, the head of the Luhansk regional state administration, Serhiy Haidai, has said.

In his opinion, after Kreminna is liberated, the way to Rubizhne and Severodonetsk in Luhansk Region will open for the Ukrainian armed forces.

The occupants will have to flee the city as they fled from Kherson and Lyman," Haidai said.

Speaking about the situation in Luhansk Region, Haidai noted that heavy fighting continues in the region, but the AFU controls the situation. He also pointed out that the occupiers have pulled up significant forces in the region, making it difficult to advance in that direction.

However, success is still on the side of the Ukrainian defence forces. No matter how hard it was, step by step, meter by meter, the Luhansk region will be de-occupied

According to Haidai, when the Ukrainian Armed Forces come "close to Severodonetsk", they will begin to flee the city.

We saw them fleeing from Kherson and Liman. Severodonetsk is a small town, 4 by 4km, a square that is on an even ground. But when troops from the side of Rubizhne approach, it finds itself semi-surrounded. And I am sure that the occupants will leave the town in such a case.
