French parliament says it may send troops to Ukraine
France remains open to all possibilities in its unwavering position of achieving a Ukrainian victory.
Sending troops to Ukraine is a possible development. This was stated by the head of the French National Assembly, Yael Bron-Pivet,We-Ukraine has reported.
So, being on a visit to Odessa, Bron-Pivet commented on previous statements of the French President Emmanuel Macron and emphasised that it should not be excluded.
In his statement, the President of the Republic said that he does not rule out anything a priori. In the position that France has demonstrated, is demonstrating and will continue to demonstrate until the end of the war, until victory itself, nothing is exceptional, everything remains possible. I will not further interpret the president's words, this position is clear enough," she emphasised.
Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the North Atlantic Union (NATO) may introduce troops to help Ukraine. But so far there is no consensus on this issue.
Macron also believes that Europe's leaders should prepare for a possible attack by Russia in the coming years.
