Footage of Soledar destroyed by Russians has been posted online

After a year of occupation by Russian soldiers, the town was completely destroyed. Before entering Soledar, the occupants mercilessly pounded it with all available weapons.
A depressing video of Soledar destroyed by the Russians has appeared online. The Russian army has completely destroyed this town in Donetsk Region. Ukrainian journalist Denis Kazansky published a video from Soledar.
All that is left of the town of Soledar, Donetsk region, where before the war lived about 10 thousand people and worked enterprises for the extraction of rock salt - said in the caption to the posted video.
The video was shot from the interior of the car. The footage shows numerous destructions in Soledar: there is literally not a single surviving house left, there is no one alive.
Russia came and destroyed everything. There is no more town, no more people. Putin calls this 'aid to Donbas,'" Kazansky noted.
It should be noted that direct fighting for Soledar, Donetsk region, had been going on since August 2022. On 12 January 2023, the Russian Defence Ministry said that the city was fully under the control of Russian troops.
It should be noted that the occupiers continue to conduct offensive operations in the area of Avdeevka in Donetsk region, but they have not been able to achieve success. Therefore, the enemy is regrouping, changing the tactics of combat operations.
Avdeevka is currently one of the main areas of combat operations. It is the last city in the Donetsk agglomeration that is under the legitimate authorities of Ukraine. Avdiivka is also the gateway to Donetsk.
