Someone wise once said: "Everyone should have a stylish hairstyle and quality shoes". It's hard to disagree, so today let's find out what haircuts and hairstyles are fashionable and relevant this autumn.

Retro isn't just about the clothes

Yes, haircuts of yesteryear are making a comeback, and that's a beautiful thing. There were some very successful variations back then that are still relevant today. One prime example is Samantha Fox's haircut. Almost every family had a calendar with her picture on it, and women diligently did hairstyles like Samantha's.

Now we can do it again! So, you need fringes or a mane (why doesn't anyone say "mane"? It's such a great word!), lots of layers of hair, spectacular sloppiness and voila, you're unrivalled!

The bob - variety for everyone

The classic, straight bob has never left the fashion trends, and today it is more relevant than ever. Recently, the long bob with a slight sloppiness, which is perfect for curly hair, has become especially popular.

Men have also fallen in love with this haircut - both in the classic version and in the elongated one. It looks very stylish. A little tip for guys: this haircut goes well with moustache and light stubble, but beard is better left for other hairstyles.

Perfect straightness

Long and well-groomed hair is always beautiful and relevant. This year stylists advise to emphasise on fringes.

  • Straight fringes - looks very stylish, but there is one "but". This form adds volume to the lower part of the face, so it is better to choose this option if you have thin features.
  • Medium fringes - they gently frame the face, giving it a romantic and innocent look. You can split your hair evenly or go for a slanted parting. Experiment!
  • Long fringes are the kind you might not notice because they blend in with your hairstyle, but they are there. It looks best on long, straight hair with slightly curled ends.

The pixie is suitable at any age

We love this haircut. It's so versatile! You can look like an innocent angel or a femme fatale.

It can be minimalistic - just a simple, uncluttered haircut - or more layered, with ripped strands and coloured accents.

Men love it too. You bet, it suits them incredibly well!

The cascade is a timeless classic

This type of haircut is unique, because there is not a single person to whom it would not suit. In addition, it is relevant at any time - both now and thirty years ago.

We have proof! Jennifer Aniston made this haircut popular - even back then, girls were asking for a haircut like Rachel (yes, we're talking about Friends again. Haven't you seen it yet? What's wrong with you?!).

And look at her now - yes, still a cascade, albeit with a more modern twist. But it is! So if Jennifer isn't giving up on this haircut, we shouldn't either!

Hairstyles - total freedom of choice

We don't know if we should give you any advice, because everyone has their own taste. But let's tell you about the main trends in hairstyles this autumn.

  • Sloppy curls - anything longer than 5 centimetres is curled. Don't fix it, let the waves be loose.
  • Accent on colour - instead of creating a complicated hairstyle, accentuate it with bright colours. As a monotonous explosion of colour, and individual flecks.
  • Braids - any form: a solid braid, a bezel braid (hi, Julia!), as a hairstyle for every day and festive. Pay special attention to the ways of plaiting. Nowadays there is such a variety, your eyes run wild!
