On the night of August 18, Moscow was attacked by an unknown drone, damaging the Expocentre building near the Moscow City business centre
Russian media say the explosion took place near the towers of the Moscow City business centre, with eyewitnesses seeing a drone flying past a few minutes before the explosion. It damaged the Expocentre building - smoke was visible there, Russian media reported. Vnukovo airport was closed because of this.
As a result of the explosion in Expocentre there was a collapse on the area of 30 square metres.
Moscow Mayor Sobyanin wrote that allegedly worked off air defence, and in the area of "Expocentre" allegedly fell its debris.
