The head of the Kremlin is a deeply sick man whose actions are difficult to predict - the head of the Estonian Defence Ministry.

Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin intends to restore the structure of the USSR and he needs Ukraine for this purpose. Estonian Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur said this on air of 1+1.

He pointed out that Putin expected to quickly conquer Ukrainian territories and go further.

"The dictator wants to enter the history books as the creator of the USSR-2, or, as he calls it, 'Great Russia'," Pevkur pointed out.

He also called for another reference to the Munich Security Conference in 2007, where Putin clearly stated that there should be a "buffer zone" between Russia and NATO, but his "vision of peace" was jeopardised by Ukraine's intention to join the North Atlantic Alliance and the EU.

Hanno Pevkur noted that Ukrainians are fighting bravely, while Putin is left with the "last argument" in the war - nuclear weapons.

However, the probability of its use by the dictator remains doubtful, because it will not yield any results," the head of the Estonian defence ministry said.

He stressed that a nuclear strike would only make the Ukrainian army even angrier and motivate the AFU to ruthlessly destroy the enemy.

The Estonian Defence Minister also added that Putin was a mentally ill person and it was difficult to predict his next move.
