Energoatom has used international mechanisms to deoccupy the Zaporizhzhya NPP

The Ukrainian state-owned company Energoatom is stepping up international work for the de-occupation of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
As you know, on March 3, Russian troops seized a nuclear power plant in the city of Energodar.
As the press service of the company notes, Energoatom continues to work on the liberation of the Zaporizhzhya NPP from the troops of the Russian Federation and representatives of Rosatom. The state-owned enterprise qualifies Russia's actions as a direct act of nuclear terrorism.
On March 3, the IAEA Board of Governors approved the corresponding resolution, in which it harshly condemned the actions of the Russians and demanded the immediate release of the seized nuclear facilities of Ukraine. Now it is important to ensure the implementation of this resolution,” said the head of Energoatom Petr Kotin.
Currently, the nuclear power plant remains temporarily occupied. Earlier, Russian troops also held control over the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, but left it after the withdrawal of troops from Kyiv.
